Eight teams competed in two round-robin groups in the M5 World Championship Wildcard Stage. Team SMG topped Group A, and Niightmare Esports claimed second place. Team Lilgun came out on top in Group B, while Imperio managed a second-place finish.
The top four teams competed in all-important Crossover matches for two spots in the Group Stage. Team SMG knocked out Imperio with a 3-1 win, and Team Lilgun demolished Niightmare with a clean 3-0 victory.

With 22 teams whittled down to 16 qualified teams across four groups, the M5 World Championship Group Stage took place from Dec. 2 to 7. These team rosters are loaded with the best players from regions such as Asia and MENA, and countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Brazil, China, and Mongolia.
