BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 Schedule & Format

BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 runs from June 12-16, 2024. Eight teams will first compete in the Group Stage, which features two double-elimination format GSL-style groups. The Group Stage runs from June 12-13. All matches are best-of-three, with the top three teams from each group advancing to the Playoffs stage. The winners of each group earn a spot in the semifinals, the second-place teams advance to the quarterfinals as high seeds, and the third-place teams are the low seeds in the quarterfinals.

The six remaining teams will compete in the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 Playoffs stage from June 14-16 in front of a live crowd at the OVO Arena Wembley venue in London. Teams will compete in a do-or-die single-elimination bracket, where the quarterfinals and semifinals are best-of-three, and the grand final is best-of-five.

Group A teams:

Group B teams:

SAW and Team Spirit barely made it to the event, qualifying through the Spring Showdown, while the rest qualified via the Spring Groups tournament.

SAW is fielding Danny “BERRY” Krüger as their coach for the event after parting ways with Daniel “NABOWOW” Brito in May 2024. Pavel “PASHANOJ” Legostaev is Virtus.pro’s new coach for the event, and Casper “ruggah” Due is Astralis’ new coach.

Our Predictions For BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024

With some shocking upsets at the recent IEM Dallas 2024, including the top-ranked team in the world, MOUZ, getting knocked out early, it’s clear that anything can happen in CS2 esports. Throw in the recent return of Dust II to the Active Duty map pool, and we’ve got a recipe for surprise results.

Despite the uncertainty, we are screaming, “Challenge accepted!” to bring you our BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 betting predictions.

Please note: Our BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 predictions and rankings below are based on stats, previous matchups, expected team form, historical data, and the latest HLTV team rankings. The author has also added their own expert opinion. Under no circumstances should readers interpret these predictions as betting advice to act upon. Always gamble responsibly.

1. Team Vitality

Team Vitality is technically the defending champions, having won both the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023 and the World Final 2023. The squad is on form, and “The Chosen One,” aka ZywOo, clicked heads with renewed vigor at IEM Dallas 2024 early in June, earning a second-place finish.

Our prediction is that apEX will brush off the defeat against G2 Esports and lead the squad to victory, building on their already impressive 72% win rate over the past three months.

Team Vitality roster:

  • Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut
  • Lotan “Spinx” Giladi
  • Shahar “flameZ” Shushan
  • William “mezii” Merriman
  • Dan “apEX” Madesclaire (IGL)
  • Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam (Coach)

2. G2 Esports

G2 Esports is easily one of the top contenders at BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024, following their excellent performance at IEM Dallas 2024. They made it to the grand final despite the absence of their leader, Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen, and took home the gold following a dramatic finale. Substitute Jacky “Stewie2K” Yip did a fantastic job, and young AWPer m0NESY and legendary rifler NiKo are in top form.

Seeing how G2 Esports does with HooXi back on the server will be interesting. At the time of writing, the team is on a five-match win streak and has a 67.9% win rate over the past three months.

G2 Esports roster:

  • Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač
  • Nikola “NiKo” Kovač
  • Ilya “m0NESY“ Osipov
  • Nemanja “nexa” Isaković
  • Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen (IGL)
  • Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas (Coach)

3. FaZe Clan

As one of the highest-ranked teams (2nd globally) heading into the event, odds indicate FaZe Clan has a strong chance of making it to the grand final and winning the tournament. We predict a 3rd-place finish because the squad wasn’t in their best form at IEM Dallas 2024.

It is important to note that, despite making it to multiple grand finals and boasting a high global ranking, FaZe Clan hasn’t won a top-tier CS2 esports event since the CS Asia Championships in November 2023.

FaZe Clan roster:

  • Robin “ropz” Kool
  • Håvard “rain” Nygaard
  • Helvijs “broky” Saukants
  • David “frozen” Čerňanský
  • Finn “karrigan” Andersen (IGL)
  • Filip “NEO” Kubski (Coach)

4. Na’Vi

Na’Vi got knocked out in the Group Stage of IEM Dallas 2024, which doesn’t inspire fans’ confidence as BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 begins. Despite Na’Vi’s recent stumble, we’re making a bold prediction, because Aleksib could rally the troops and bounce back spectacularly.

Na’Vi roster:

  • Valerij “b1t” Vakhovsjkyj
  • Ihor “w0nderful” Zhdanov
  • Mihai “iM” Ivan
  • Justinas “jL” Lekavičius
  • Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen (IGL)
  • Andrij “B1ad3” Ghorodensjkyj (Coach)

Final Thoughts On BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024

All eyes will be on London’s OVO Arena Wembley from June 12-16 for BLAST Premier’s Spring Final. With eight of the best CS2 teams competing for a spot in the Blast Premier: World Final 2024 and a piece of the $425,000 prize pool, the action promises to be on another level.
