Dota 2 Hero Tier List (As Of Patch 7.35)
With so many heroes in Dota 2, you may ask yourself: What is the best Core or Support hero to be proficient in team fights? We’ve got the answer! Below is the latest Dota 2 hero tier list for patch 7.35.
Tier Descriptions
- S-Tier: The strongest meta picks in the game—you cannot go wrong! These heroes have been buffed or have broken item builds that make them overpowered, allowing them to scale well into the late game and ultimately give your team a massive winning edge.
- A-Tier: While they may not have the same game-changing impact as S-Tier heroes, these A-Tier characters are powerful choices in most situations. They’re versatile and often seen in competitive play.
- B-Tier: Average choices with some notable strengths, B-Tier heroes can be effective in specific scenarios or when paired with the right team compositions. They’re definitely not as consistently impactful as A- or S-Tier heroes, but they can still perform well and are viable in many matches. You’ll want to play into their unique strengths.
- C-Tier: These heroes are less than stellar, and they require specific gameplay scenarios or item builds to truly shine. They are less common in competitive play and may need a more strategic approach to be as effective as S-, A-, or B-tier Dota 2 heroes. They can be good in niche situations or as counter-picks to more popular heroes.
- D-Tier: The bottom of the barrel. These heroes are easily countered, lack good utility, or can be outclassed. Or, they’re not suited for the role. You’ll rarely see them in competitive matches and are (for the most part) not recommended for serious play.

Note: These tier lists are based on Stratz hero meta trends during Dota 2 patch 7.35. We’ve considered only All Pick matches in Ancient to Immortal tiers for our analysis, prioritizing pick and win rates. There may be overlap because some heroes can be played in more than one role. Also, remember that future patch updates may affect the overall meta and, thus, the standing of these heroes.
